COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND INDIANA
ORDINANCE NO. 20- 2024
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2024 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana passed an annual budget
for calendar year 2024 on October 2, 2023 and,
WHEREAS, funds for particular capital improvement projects that were included in the 2022 and
2023 Budgets were not encumbered for 2024,
WHEREAS, these particular capital improvement project expenditures will now be initiated in 2024,
WHEREAS, it has been determined it is now necessary to appropriate additional sums of money to
certain funds so they are available for use within the 2024 annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the additional appropriations are hereby approved for the funds as indicated:
1. Sanitary Fund 6601 $ 98,000.00
