A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE USE OF THE BATEMAN HALL FACILITY AND PROVIDING VARIOUS EVENT
SUPPORT SERVICES VALUED IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,270
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood wishes to partner with the St. Francis Medical
Center's (SFMC) Welcome Baby Program and the Lynwood Unified School District to
co- present a Teen Mother's Conference at the City's Bateman Hall Facility; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the event is to give local teen mothers access to
resources and support services to help them succeed; and
WHEREAS, the event will take place on a date to be determined in May 2015
from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the use of requested City facilities and
support services valued in the amount of $1,270.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that the event serves the important
public purpose of educating Lynwood residents community -wide.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3 I day of February, 2015.
