Minutes of Meeting – 01 March 2018
The Hopkinton Open Space Preservation Commission (OSPC) met in the Art Room, Hopkinton
Senior Center, 28 Mayhew Street Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
Present: Jeff Doherty, John Ferrari, Ed Harrow, and Don MacAdam, Conservation Administrator At 7:30 p.m., John Ferrari called the meeting to order.
7:30 PM: OSPC Business Discussion
Mr. Harrow made a motion to approve the minutes of 01 February 2018. The motion was seconded by Mr. Doherty and it passed unanimously.
7:30 PM: Discussion of Issues at Whitehall Property – Continued
Barry Rosenblum, Hopkinton Area Land Trust (HALT)
Mr. Rosenblum noted that the previously discussed letters were mailed to the abutting property
owner. A discussion was held regarding the status of the pre-existing conditions which appear to
have been affected by recent site activity. A discussion was held about scheduling a site walk to review the site. The OSPC determined to schedule a site walk for 17 March 2018 at 9:00 am.
7:45 PM: Discussion of Status of 0 Sylvan Way (R16 27 0)
A discussion was held about scheduling a site walk to review the site. The OSPC determined to schedule a site walk for 17 March 2018 at 10:30 am.
7:48 PM: OSPC Business Discussion
A discussion was held about considering to list a potential parcel for acquisition as a topic of discussion at the next OSPC public meeting.
7:50 PM: Adjournment
Mr. Doherty made a motion to adjourn the public meeting. The motion was seconded by Mr. Harrow and it passed unanimously.
