THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 36~
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING FISHING PERMITS WITHIN BEL
AIRE, KANSAS; ESTABLISHING FEES FOR SAID FISHING
PERMITS AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 330.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL
AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1. Fishing Permit Issuance
Section 10 of Ordinance 330 shall be amended to read:
An annual City of Bel Aire fishing permit may be obtained, valid for one
(1) year from the date of issue. Single day City of Bel Aire fishing
permits may be obtained no earlier than five (5) days prior to the
authorized date of use. City of Bel Aire fishing permits may be obtained
at the Bel Aire City Hall, 4551 N Auburn, Bel Aire, Kansas, during the
hours of8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
Section 2. Fishing Permit Fee
Section 11 of Ordinance 330 shall be amended to read:
A fee of $10.00 shall be charged for each annual fishing permit issued by
the City of Bel Aire, Kansas to a Bel Aire Resident. A fee of $25.00 shall
be charged for each annual fishing permit issued by the City of Bel Aire,
Kansas to a Non-Resident of Bel Aire, Kansas. A fee of$5.00 shall be
charged for each single day fishing permit issued by the City of Bel Aire,
Kansas. However, these fees shall be waived for those persons under the
age of 16 years old and over the age of 65 years old and for employees of
the City of Bel Aire, Kansas.
Section 3. Penalty
Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this Ordinance
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine not to exceed five hundred
dollars ($500.00).
Section 4. Amending Ordinance 330.
Section 10 and 11 of Ordinance 330 is hereby amended. All other sections
of Ordinance 330 shall remain in force.
Section 5. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the official city newspaper.
