Memo
To: Management
From: Gregory L. Dunham, Town Manager,
Re: Car Allowance
Date: June 15, 2022
The Town will be moving toward a compensation package for management positions that includes
a monthly car allowance. The following positions will be eligible for this benefit:
Town Manager
Town Clerk
Chief of Police
Police Lieutenant (or other higher -ranking Officer)
This item will be brought to the Town Commission for approval during the July 8, 2022, Town
Commission Meeting. I ask that the individuals in these positions who were previously authorized
to use the Town gas pumps discontinue use of this benefit, as it is anticipated that the Car
Allowance will replace that benefit.
