A) CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE B) PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS  Presentation to Michael Collins  Landmark Presentation  Presidential Appointments C) TRUSTEES COMMENTS D) PUBLIC COMMENTS on items not on the Agenda (3-5 minutes per topic) E) BUSINESS MEETING 1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA 2) CONSENT AGENDA a) Bills Paid and Bills Payable for May 21, 2007 b) Cash & Investments, Revenue, and Expenditure Reports for April, 2007 c) Approval of Final Pay Request #1, totaling $87,133.35 to Linblad Construction, and Change Order #1 for the construction of the Route 59 Sidewalk. d) Approval of Resolution Number ____________ confirming that the Village intends to use Motor Fuel Tax funds during the 2007 construction season and will so on projects that are eligible to receive this funding. 3) PLAINFIELD ART LEAGUE Seeking a motion to approve a $15,000 grant for 2007 for the Plainfield Art League. 4) LOCKPORT STREET RECONSTRUCTION AND STREETSCAPE Seeking a motion to execute a Professional Engineering service agreement with Christopher B. Burke Engineer, LTD (CBBEL) for the purpose of phase II engineering for the Lockport Street Reconstruction and Streetscape in the amount of $249,658.92 5) PROPOSED 2007-2008 DISTRICT 202 LAND-CASH VALUATION Seeking a motion to accept the appraisal submitted by the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 to increase the per-acre value for cash in lieu of school site contributions to $160,000 per acre effective July 1, 2007. 6) VILLAGE STAR LINE STATION – AREA PROPERTY ANNEXATION (PC Case #1317-050707.A) Seeking a motion to approve Ordinance No. annexing the Village-owned territory of approximately 58 acres located generally east of Wood Farm Road and Van Dyke Road and Village Board Agenda May 21, 2007 Page 2 of 3 south of 143rd Street (PIN #06-03-09-200-015; 06-03-09-400-004-0000; and 06-03-09-400-005-0000 7) 15313 S. CORBIN STREET CARRIAGE HOUSE ( HPC CASE 1308-032207.ZA) Seeking a motion to approve the accessory structure height determination to allow the proposed carriage house at 15313 S. Corbin St. (formerly 207 N. Corbin St.) to be constructed to a height of 16.5 feet as defined by the Village of Plainfield Zoning Ordinance. 8) GRANDE PARK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (PC Case 1307-032107.SPR) Seeking a motion to approve the Site Plan Review (including Site Plan, Building Elevations, and Photometric Plan) for Grande Park Junior High School, located on the east side of Grande Park Boulevard, west of Stewart Road, between Briar Lane and Pepper Tree Drive, subject to the stipulations in the staff report. Staff and the applicant, Oswego Community Unit School District 308, are seeking direction from the Village Board with respect to the applicant's request to strike Stipulation #4, requiring screening of all rooftop mechanical units. 9) GRANDE PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (PC Case 1238-032006.SPR) (At the applicant's request) Seeking a motion to remove a previous stipulation (Stipulation #5) attached to the Village Board's May 1, 2006 approval of the Site Plan Review, requiring screening of all rooftop mechanical units via parapet walls or individual enclosures that are consistent with the design and color of the building for Grande Park Elementary School, located on the east side of Grande Park Boulevard, west of Stewart Road. J) PUBLIC WORKS REPORT  Seeking a motion to authorize the Village President to execute an agreement to allow Crawford, Murphy, & Tilly, Inc. (CMT) to complete the Phase 2 Design for the extension of 143rd Street at a total cost of $585,500.  Seeking a motion to award the Van Dyke Road Reconstruction project to K-5 Construction Inc., the low bidder, for a total bid price of $1,275,151.74.  Seeking a motion to award 119th Street and 248th Avenue Permanent Signal Improvements to Lyons & Pinner Electric, the low bidder, for a bid price of $198,680.01.
