Village Board /Committee of the Whole Workshop Agenda May 14, 2007 Page 2 of 3 4) GRACE POINT CHURCH a) Seeking a motion to continue a Public Hearing for the annexation agreement for Grace Point Church located at 127th Street and 248th Avenue that was originally opened on April 16, 2007. b) Seeking a motion to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular business meeting. c) Seeking a motion to direct the Village Attorney to draft the necessary ordinances to:  Authorize the execution of an Annexation Agreement;  Annexing the subject property;  Approve a Special Use for a Planned Unit Development;  Rezone approximately six (6) acres of the Grace Point Church site to B-1. d) Seeking a motion to approve the site plan for the Grace Point Church located at the northwest corner of 127th Street & 248th Avenue e) Seeking a motion to approve the Preliminary Plat for Grace Point Church. 5) SHOPS OF DAYFIELD (PC Case #1298-020207.SU.MC.SPR) a) Seeking a motion to accept the Plan Commission’s findings of fact fact and to direct the Village Attorney to prepare an ordinance approving a Special Use for a drive-thru facility, subject to the stipulations listed in the staff report. b) Seeking a motion to accept the Plan Commission’s findings of fact and to direct the Village Attorney to prepare an ordinance approving a Major Change to a Planned Development, subject to the stipulations listed in the staff report. c) Seeking a motion to approve the Site Plan Review for Shops of Plainfield, located near the northwest corner of Illinois Route 30 and 143rd Street, subject to the stipulations listed in the staff report. 6) CHATHAM SQUARE PHASE 3 (PC Case #1306-031907-FP) Seeking a motion to approve the Chatham Square Phase 3 Final Plat of Subdivision subject to the stipulations noted in the staff report. F) ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT G) MANAGEMENT SERVICES REPORT H) ENGINEER’S REPORT I) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT  Staff is seeking concurrence from the Village Board with respect to our Zoning Ordinance interpretation that a Day Care Home for adults is similar to a Day Care Home for children in terms of permissibility in various Zoning Districts. The stems from a request for approval of a Day Care Home for adults to be operated by the current owners of an existing detached single-family home located within the R-1 District, located at 15402 S. Joliet Road. J) PUBLIC WORKS REPORT  Seeking a motion to award the Van Dyke Road and 143rd Street Signal and Street Lighting, and Permanent Signal Installation at Van Dyke and IL Route 126/US Route 30 to Henkels And McCoy, the low bidder, for a total bid price of $560,442.00.  Seeking a motion to have the Village President execute an amendment to the 143rd Street Extension Phase 1 Engineering Agreement with Crawford, Murphy, and Tilly (CMT) for additional work as required. Staff and the Project Consultant Team will be available to answer questions following the presentation.
