AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WEED CONTROL MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires lawn maintenance services of various
kinds within the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has solicited and received sealed bid proposals for
said services with regard to Resolution #18 -48, adopted by the Mayor and Council on
March 8, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed all bid proposals and has recommended
the award of contracts to provide said services to the lowest responsible bidder with
regard to the same. Acct. #: 9- 01 -2 375 -297
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That the 2019 Weed Control Maintenance Contract with RZ Tech
Pest Control of Basking Ridge, NJ is hereby extended for an
amount not to exceed $10,480.00.
2. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to
extend the contract with the identified lowest bidder for Weed
Control Maintenance as identified above in accordance in all
respects with the request for proposals and bid on same, and the
approval of the Borough Engineer.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 8, 2019.
