Home My Public Portal AboutOrd. 19-02No. MrMnance Of I ty AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ARTICLE XVI, ENTITLED, ZONING, OF CHAPTER 160, LAND USE OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 160, entitled, "Land Use ", is hereby amended and supplemented to add the following as a permitted use in all zoning districts where it is not already such a permitted use: "School(s) for academic instruction approved by the New Jersey State Board of Education, on land owned or to be acquired by the Carteret Board of Education." Section 2. All ordinances and /or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provision of this ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this ordinance shall be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be severable from the remainder of this ordinance.
