A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE VILLAGE MAYOR TO APPLY FOR THE FEDERAL
DRUG CONTROL AND SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM GRANT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE MIAMI-
DADE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO APPLY
FOR, RECEIVE, EXPEND AND AMEND FUNDS AND
EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH THE PURPOSE OF
CREATING A RECORD IMPORVEMENT PROGRAM
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, that this Council authorizes the Village Mayor to
apply to Miami -Dade County for funds in the approximate amount $ 3,759 00, authorizes the Village
Mayor to execute such contracts and agreements as are required by this governmental body following
their approval by the Village Attorney's Office, to execute such other contracts as will serve further
the purpose described in the funding request, following their approval by the Village Attorney's
Office, to expend any and all monies received for the purpose described in the funding request, to
receive and expend any additional funds that might become available during the term of the grant,
to file and execute necessary amendments to the application for and on behalf of the Village of Key
Biscayne, Miami -Dade County, Florida, and to exercise amendment, modification, renewal,
cancellation and termination clauses of any contracts and agreements on behalf of the Village of Key
Biscayne
Section 4 Effective Date This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption
