A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) TO
SOLICIT BIDS FOR PLANNING, BUILDING & SAFETY, ENFORCEMENT, HOUSING,
AND GRANT RELATED SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City currently contracts with MDG Associates Inc. ( "MDG ") for
Development Services 'management oversight, housing support and grant related
services; and
WHEREAS, the Development Services management oversight contract with
MDG expires on March 1, 2015, but may be extended on a month -to -month basis for an
additional three months; and
WHEREAS, the housing support and grant related services contract with MDG
expires on November 30, 2015, but is subject to a 30 -day termination notice, should the
City decide to terminate the services; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to issue a RFP for planning, building & safety,
enforcement, housing and grant related services to maintain the existing level of support
for City services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes staff . to issue a RFP for planning,
building & safety, enforcement, housing and grant related services.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
