RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PERSON -TO- PERSON AND PLACE TO PLACE
TRANSFER OF A.B.C. LICENSE #1201 -33- 061 -012 FROM 800 BLAIR ROAD, LLC TO
WAVES OF WINE, LLC.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex, State of New Jersey by Waves of Wine, LLC. for a Person - to — Person and Place —
to — Place transfer of ABC License #1201 -33- 061 -012 from 800 Blair Road, LLC present holder
of same and said license consented to assign their rights to license to the aforesaid applicant,
Waves of Wine, LLC; and
WHEREAS, according to the law the applicant for transfer was duly advertised in The Home
News Trubune, a news paper circulated in the Borough of Carteret and no objections, either
verbally or in writing, were filed or made to the Board or to the Municipal Clerk regarding said
transfer; and
Whereas, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed the source of all funds
used in the purchase of said license and the licensed business and all additional financing
obtained in connection with the licensed business.
WHEREAS, the application form is complete in all respects and the applicant is qualified to be
licensed according to all standards established by Title33 of the New Jersey Statutes, promulgated
there under, as well as pertinent local ordinances and conditions consistent with Title 33.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, BY THE Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, the ABC Licensg # 1201-
33- 061 -012 heretofor granted to 800 Blair Road, LLC be and the same is hereby transferred,
effective February 26, 2019 to the applicant Waves of Wine, LLC to sell alcoholic beverages in
conformity with the law, statutes, rules and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and
concerning said license and to be held by them until said license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
execute the endorsement of the Person -to- Person and Place -to -Place Transfer on behalf of the
ABC Board of the Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution be sent forthwith
to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Alcoholic
Beverage Control, Licensing Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton, NJ 08625 -0087.
