AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH JAMES P. DEADY, SURVEYOR, LLC
BOUNDARY, TOPOGRAPHIC/UTILITY SURVEY
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering services in
regard to boundary, topographic /utility surveys for numerous residential lots throughout
the Borough; and
WHEREAS, James P. Deady, Surveyor, LLC, 295 Rt. 22 East, Whitehouse Station, New
Jersey 08889, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services;
and
WHEREAS, James P. Deady, Surveyor, LLC has submitted a proposal to provide said
services at a total cost not to exceed $13,800.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose. Acct. #: 9-01- 20-165 -254
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
The proposal from James P. Deady, Surveyor, LLC for
engineering services in regard to boundary, topographic /utility
surveys for numerous residential properties: Block #1301, Lots
1 -9, 21 -29 in the Borough, at a total cost not to exceed
$13,800.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11- 5(1)(a) in accordance with
the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Director of Engineering, Purchasing Department and James P.
Deady, Surveyor, LLC.
Adopted this 7h day of March, 2019
and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 8, 2019.
