THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBRUARY 16, 2006
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday,
February 16, 2006, in the Community Room at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond,
Indiana. In attendance were Board Members John Kenny, Dian Lawson and Mary Jo Flood. Also
attending were Assistant City Attorney Kenyatta Cox and Karen Chasteen, City Clerk.
The following business was conducted:
CALL TO ORDER
Kenny called the meeting to order and noted for the minutes that all board members and legal counsel
were present
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Kenny made a request to the board to approve the minutes for the February 9, 2006 meeting. Lawson
made a motion to approve with a second by Flood. The motion was unanimously passed.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Kenny made a request to the board to approve the claims for payment in the amount of $219,878.91.
Flood made a motion to approve with a second by Lawson. The motion was unanimously passed.
REQUESTS
Two curb cut requests were as follows:
1. 520 North 6th Street — Lawson moved to approve this request with a second by Flood.
The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote.
2. 511 Meadowbrook — Flood moved to approve this request with a second by Lawson. The
motion carried with a unanimous voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously. The meeting
was adjourned.
