being no quorum present.

A special meeting; was called for to -day but was not held as there
was no quorum present. Moses attending were the Mayor and Council-
men Waithour and Cann.

The reg i1 r meeting of the Council „at 4:eclock p.m. s pre- •
sided, -c by Councilmen Horovitz, Waithour and Cann aM also by
Mr. . B. Izlar.
Mr. Izlar appeared and asked if the sale of his property would be
held up for the time being. He said that the property would be lost
if the town advertised it now. Mr. Izlar said that if the property
was advertised that he would lose everything he owned, he also stated
that he thought that he was over - taxed. Mr. Izlar was informed by Mr.
Cann that he had not paid any taxes for the last three (3) years.
Mr. Izlar said that if he could arrange it at the present time he Could
buy the mortagages from McFadden estate, °in the neighborhood of $26,500.
Mr. Izlar said that he had worked f-42 the town of Tybee for 25 years
and would lose everything if the property was advertised at this time,
aeed at his age he would try every way too hold things as he could not
start over. Mr. Cann aske.r. Izlar if he had any prospective buyers.
Mr. Izlar said he thought that he had.
Mr. Cann askelMr. Izlar how long it would take to pay his indebtness.
Mr. Izlar said that he would pay just as soon as possible. Mr. Cann
saidthe0wo1ld help everyway possible but the town needed the money.

Mr. Waithour moved that Mr. Izlar have until January 3 0,1931,
to straighen his affairs and that if he had not done so at this time
