Guest: Kara Jeffus. Location: Clubhouse deck with.Ken online via MS Teams. Call to Order by Todd McKenna; March Minutes approved by Kris and 2"d by Todd. Superintendents Report: Eric McCormack • Staff: we are at 3 full time and 4 seasonal staff. We have been recruiting for summer, but the bulk of them won't be available until the middle to end of May. We are offering$1/hr more for seasonal employees to try to attract more workers. Currently low interest due to cost of living and lack of housing. • Course Condition: Dry April for a good melt and green up,course is in great shape so far, irrigation starting early. Greens look great. All the covers were removed by May 3rd. We had some pink snow mold but treated with fungicide to stop the mold and protect them.Vole damage is heavy in some areas around the greens, although in better shape than last year. We will reinstall ball washers, sand and seed, and allow flags to be pulled this season. • Club House: Sinks plus touchless faucets have been purchased for the bathrooms and slabs have been milled for counter tops but need to be finished. The roof will be put off a year to use those funds for the parking lot repave. Eric will go back to the City for additional capital funds, the plan is to have Energy Seal foam and then asphalt shingling applied. This will be more costly than replacing the metal roof but help in the long run with no snow slide off and with heating and cooling costs. The entrance and ramp to the clubhouse will be repaired to bring it up to code and make it easier to maintain in the winter. Kurt Wolf has done the design and the ramp will be completed with the parking lot in the Fall. • Parking Lot: Bids complete for the parking lot.We are approximately$30K short of funding. Nathan and Morgan from Public works have managed the plan to grind and repave the last two weeks in September. • Cart Paths: The paths have been busy with the warmer weather,as evident by the pounds of animal waste deposited in receptacles the month of April. Asking for LOT$40K in funds to go towards 7 miles grinding and paving paths. • New Entry Sign: Has been assembled and will be completed by Winston Yeast. • Opening Date: Friday May 21A•Aspen and Birch nines only. • Cameras and Speakers have been ordered from May Security, should be up and running by the end of this week. • Stumps may be removed this summer;time and staff permitting. • Bridges: We have the logs—they need to be milled. 4 Cedar will be completed before opening the Cedar nine. • Budget: Still in first round of projections which have been difficult due to the current economy. Will be working on reinstating the full-time irrigation position. • Marketing: Will be at the airport for the open house in July. Advertising in the"Cascade Golfer"and a nice 2 page spread in "McCall Magazine"with Jug Mountain Ranch. Pro's Report: Allen Morrison • Budget and revenue discussed. Year to date revenue is already$51K above last year. The five-year running average is$17,656. • Tournaments: Most all full already. We will most likely be having the Calcutta this year. • New Pro(assistant) hired, Ron Ptacheck. New Business: • Discussed the need to market the master plan. Also discussed the plan to have a public informational gathering this summer to promote fund raising and public awareness of the masterplan. • Discussed the option of proposing a Revenue Bond to fund the Master Plan. Old Business: • Course Improvement fund will be partially funded with 2%of yearly passes and 3%daily passes. • Eric supports the paver project and will indicate so at the LOT meeting.
