A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND
TRANSFER $37,000 OF UNAPPROPRIATED GAS TAX FUNDS TO THE TRAFFIC
SIGNAL DIVISION ACCOUNT NO .2051.45.430
WHEREAS, over the last two - and -half months there have been 7 traffic collisions
that have damaged City property; and
WHEREAS, the Electrical Division needs supplies and material to repair traffic
signals and street lights; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to purchase traffic signal maintenance
material and supplies; and
WHEREAS, unappropriated Gas Tax funds can be transferred to the Electrical
Division to purchase needed supplies; and
WHEREAS,. Public Works staff conducted the final inspection of the project and
found that all the work has been completed in accordance with the project specification.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the City
Manager or designee to appropriate and transfer $37,000 of unappropriated Gas Tax
Funds to the Traffic Signal Division Account No. 2051.45.430.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. This City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 2015.
