RESOLUTION NO. 1 -72.
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA,
ORDERING THE RE- CONSTRUCTION AND PAVING OF THAT
PART OF POLO DRIVE LYING BETWEEN BANYAN ROAD AND
OLD SCHOOL ROADI ALSO BANYAN ROAD FOR A DISTANCE
OF 200 FEET EITHER SIDE OF POLO DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Gulf Stream Commission did, on the 10th
day of December, 197111, order the Town Manager to provide for ob-
taining Plans and Specifications for re- construction and paving
of that part of Polo Drive lying between Banyan and Old School
Roads; also re- paving of those portions of Banyan Road extending
200 feet both easterly and westerly from the center -line of Polo
Drive, and
WHEREAS, the Town Commission deems it to be necessary for the
safety, convenience and welfare of the public to provide for the
hereinabove stated street improvements in accordance with the
Plans and Specifications on file in the Clerk's office at the Town
Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Commission of the
Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, that it is determined to make the
following described improvements, to -wit:
Reconstruct and pave that part of Polo Drive
lyincr between Banyan Road and Old School Road;
also re -pave that part of Banyan Road for a
distance of 200 feet both east and west of the
centerline of Polo Drive, all such improvements
to be in accordance with the Plans and Specifi-
cations referred to above, the total cost as es-
timated for said improvements being $ 100260.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the entire cost of such improve-
ments shall be shared by the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, and the
following described properties in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida,
on a basis of the Town of Gulf Stream paying fifty (50) per cent of
the total cost thereof and the owners of the abutting properties
shown below paying fifty (50) per cent of said total cost, by spec-
ial assessment:
said benefits to be determined and prorated according to the front
footage of the respective properties as set forth immediately above.

said benefits to be determined and prorated according to the front
footage of the respective properties as set forth immediately above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said special assessments
against all the parcels of lands as set forth herein shall
be and remain liens thereon until paid. Payment of those
assessments shall be made at the Town Hall in Gulf Stream,
Florida, within three (3) months from the date of the as-
sessment upon said parcels of land.
IT IS ORDERED that the Town Commission shall sit at
the Town Hall in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, at 9:00
o'clock A.M., E.S.T., on the 21st day of March, 19721 for
the purpose of hearing objections, if any, on said proposed
improvements set forth hereinabove, and determined basis for
sharing the total cost thereof, as outlined herein.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Town Commission of the Town
of Gulf Stream, Palm Beach County, Florida, on this the 11th
day of February, 1972.
