APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
ATLANTIC ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS, INC.
REVIEW OF ADJACENT PROPERTIES ALONG THE SEDIMENT SAMPLING
LOCATIONS FOR THE CARTERET WATERFRONT PROPERTIES
ARTHUR HILL SHORELINE & RIPARIAN AREAS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough ") is in need of specialized
environmental services with regard to the review of adjacent properties along the
sediment sampling locations for the Carteret waterfront properties located on the Arthur
Kill shoreline and Riparian areas; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc., possesses the requisite knowledge
and expertise to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc. has submitted a proposal to provide
said services at a maximum cost not to exceed $41,680.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for the same. Account # Ord. 3 16 -2, C- 04- 16- 102 -201
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
The proposal by Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc., 5
Marine View Plaza, Suite 401, Hoboken, NJ 07030, for
environmental services for the review of the adjacent properties
along the sediment sampling locations for the Carteret
waterfront properties located on the Arthur Kill shoreline and
Riparian areas in an amount not to exceed $41,680.00 billable,
is hereby approved.
2. This award is made as a professional services contract pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 40A:11 -5(1) (a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's
Fair and Open process as authorized by law.

The Borough of Carteret has awarded a contract without competi-
ti bidding as a Professional Service pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11 -5
(1) (a). This contract and the resolution authorizing it are available
for public inspection in the Office of the Municipal Clerk.
This action is approved as an award of a Professional Services Con-
tract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(1)(a) in accordance with the Bor-
ough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law. Environmental
