AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
LERCH VINCI & HIGGINS FOR ACCOUNTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, there exists a need for specialized accounting services in
connection with the review, modification and adoption of the Sewer User
Fee Ordinance of the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, such specialized accounting services can be provided by a
recognized accounting firm, and the firm of Lerch, Vinci & Higgins is so
recognized in the accounting community and possesses the requisite
knowledge and experience to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, funds are or will be available for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1.The proposal from Lerch, Vinci & Higgins for accounting
services related to the review, modification, and adoption of
a new Sewer User Fee Ordinance at a total cost not to
exceed $2,500.00 at the hourly rate set forth in its existing
contract with the Borough is hereby approved.
2.This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract.
