• RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
• THREE YEAR CONTRACT TO CONVERGINT TECHNOLOGIES FOR VIDEO
SURVEILLANCE CAMERA MAINTENANCE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Advanced Surveillance and Protection Program
(ASAP) supports 29 video surveillance cameras; and
WHEREAS, the cameras are monitored by the Sheriff's Department at the
Lynwood Century Station; and
WHEREAS, staff issued an RFP on February 3, 20.15 to ensure that the City is
receiving the best price for the required contracted services; and
WHEREAS, the City received RFP's from three vendors;, and'
WHEREAS, after reviewing the RFP's staff is confident that Convergint
Technologies can provide the best services.
. WHEREAS, an allocation was approved in the FY 2014/15 Parking and
Business Improvement District (PBID) spending plan in the amount of $35,000 to cover
this contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council award a three year contract to Convergint
Technologies for video surveillance camera maintenance in an amount not to exceed
$35,000.
Section 2. That the Mayor be authorized to sign the contract.
Section 3. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.,
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21St day of April, 2015.
