RESOLUTION PROVIDING COMPENSATION FOR THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Public Resources Code Section 5536 provides
for compensation of the members of the Board of Directors of a Regional
Park District, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional
Park District by a motion unanimously passed at its December 13, 1972 meeting
determined that such payment should be made beginning with the meeting of
December 13, 1972,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MID_
PENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT does resolve that the action taken at
its meeting of December 13, 1972 is hereby ratified and that the members
of the board shall receive fifty dollars ($50) for each attendance at Board
meetings, regular and special, beginning with the meeting of December 13,
1972, provided, however, that no Director shall receive any other compen-
sation, and no Director shall receive payment for more than two meetings
in any calendar month.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Mid-
peninsula Regional Park District on January 30, 197 3, at a regular meeting
thereof, by the following vote :
