RE S OLUT I ON COMMENDING SENATOR ALFRED E. ALQUIST
FOR HIS ASSISTANCE TO THE MID-PENINSULA REGIONAL
PARK DIS TR ICT.
WHEREAS , the Mid-P en insu la Re giona l Park Distr ict
was forme d at the g enera l elect ion held on Novemb er 7, 1 972 ,
and
WHEREA S, upon its formation it was determined that
under existing le gis l ation the power of the District to b orrow
money for operating expenses may be l imited , and
WHEREA S, Senator ALFRED E . ALQ UIST carried a nd o b -
taine d unan i mo us passage of A .B . 2392 as urgency c urative
l egis lat ion in Sacramento,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MID-
PENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DIS TRICT DOE S RE S OLVE to comme nd a nd
e x pres s its appreci a tion to Senator ALFRE D E. ALQ UIS T for
