A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA; APPROVING,
AND CONFIRMING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
COMMUNITY CENTER ADVISORY BOARD; PROVIDING
FOR IMPLEMENTATION; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to approve and confirm appointments which have
been made to the Community Center Advisory Board (the "Board") of the Village pursuant to
Section 2-150, et seq. of the Village Code; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interest of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals. That each of the above stated recitals are hereby adopted and
confirmed.
Section 2. Appointments to Board.
A. That the appointment of Board members Jim Leavitt, Bonnie Cooper, Sixto Campano
and Erica Marcantonio for a two (2) year term commencing on October 9, 2007, and which shall
expire on October 8, 2009 is hereby approved and confirmed.
B. That the Village Council's action of February 26, 2007 concerning the appointment
of Board members Carlos Battle, Eileen Ortega and Ernesto Alvarez, to a two (2) year term of
office which commenced on August 25, 2006, and shall terminate on August 24, 2008, is hereby
approved and confirmed.
C. That the Board's current members and their term of office are hereby summarized and
confirmed, as follows:

Section 3. Implementation. That the Village Clerk is authorized to take any action which
is necessary to implement the purposes of this resolution.
Section 4. Effective Date. That this resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption.
