AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T&M ASSOCIATES - GREEN
ACRES APPLICATION,. WATERFRONT PARK II
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
services in connection with the Green Acres Application, Waterfront Park
II; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer, Donald ]. Norbut, P.E.,
C.M.E., of TaM Associates, possesses the requisite skill and expertise to
provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Donald ]. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. has submitted a proposal to
provide said engineering services at a total cost not to exceed $5,000.00;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposals;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will
be available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Donald ]. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. of T &
M Associates for engineering services related to the Green
Acres Application, Waterfront Park II at a total cost not to
exceed $5000.00 at the hourly rate set forth in T & M's
existing contract with the Borough is hereby approved.
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract.
Adopted this 17th day of January, 2002
and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 18, 2002.
