A* RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) TO
SOLICIT BIDS FOR BUSINESS LICENSE SERVICES
WHEREAS, in efforts to improve the overall efficiency of the Business License
Division operations as well as to increase revenues, specifically for Business License
Fines, staff recommends that the City Council authorize staff to solicit bids for Business
License services; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to issue a RFP for business license services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes staff to issue a RFP for business
license services.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 2015.
