A special meeting of Council was held to-day and was attended
by Mayor Gamble,who presided, and Councilmen Esoy,Logan,Brooke,
Cann and Walthour and Town Attorney McIntyre.
Mr. Logan made a motion that the following ordinance regulating the
installation, repaining and construction of electrical wiring with-
in the corporste limits of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, be adopted
this was seconded by Mr. Brooks and the motion passed.

AN ORDINANCE regulating the installation, 'repaiting,
and construction of electrical wiring link-thin the corporate limits of
Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, and for other purposes.
514CTI0N 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of Savannah
Beach, Tybee Island, in regular meeting assembled, that from and after
the passage of this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any persons,
firm or corporation to do any electrical wiring or any repairs thereof
or any construction thereof, within the corporat limits of Savannah
Beach, Tybee Island, unless the same is done by or under the immediate
supervision anddirection of a person holding a certificate from the
Board of Electrical Examiners of Chatham County; composed of three
electricians, residing and doing business in Chatham County, Georgia,
and appointed by the County Commissioners of said. County to serve for
a period of two years.
SECTION 2. Be it further ordained that any person, firm or corpor-
ation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon
conviction before the Police Court of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island,
be punished by a fine not exceeding ;i3100.00 or imprisonment not ex-
ceeding 30 days, either or 'oath, or any part of either or both, in the
discretion of the Court.
=TIM 3. Be it further ordained by the authoritynaforesaid that
all ordinances or parts of ordinance in conflict herewith, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

There being no further business, Council adjourned subject to the
call of the Mayor.
