RESOLUTION NO. 1 -72
RESOLUTION COMMENDING ASSEMBLYMAN RICHARD
D. HAYDEN FOR HIS ASSISTANCE TO THE MI D-
PENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DIS TR ICT.
WHEREAS, the Mid-Peninsu la Regiona l Park District
was formed at the general election held on November 7, 1 972,
and
WHEREAS, upon its forma tion it was determined that
under existing legislation the power of the District to borrow
money for operating e xpenses may be limited, and
WHEREAS, Assemb l y man RICHARD D. HAYDEN introduced and
obtaine d unanimous passage of A.B. 2392 as urgency c u rative
legislation in Sacramento,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MID-
PENINSULA REGIONAL PARK DIS TRICT DOES RE S OLVE to commend and
expre ss its appreciation to Assemb l y man RICHARD D. HAYDEN for
his past and continued suppor t of the Mid-Peninsula Regiona l
Park District and for his prompt and efficient advocacy in
the State Legislature on the District's behalf.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Boar d of Directors of the
