AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE PRICE OF BEVERAGES
BE LISTED ON ESTABLISHMENT MENUS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret as
follows:
Section 1 The price of all beverages, including alcoholic beverages, shall be
clearly listed on all menus or other such price listings at all local
establishments that serve prepared food and /or drinks for sale
within the Borough of Carteret.
Section 2 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any
such inconsistency.
Section 3 If any section, paragraph, sub - division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only
to the section, paragraph, sub - division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section 4 This ordinance shall take effect July 1, 2020.

AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE PRICE OF BEVERAGES
TO BE LISTED ON ESTABLISHMENT MENUS
This ordinance requires that the price of all beverages including al-
coholic beverages, shall be clearly listed on all menus or other such
price listings at all local establishments that serve prepared food
and /or drinks for sale within the Borough of Carteret.
The foregoing ordinance was introduced at a meeting of the
Council of the Borough of Carteret held July 18, 2019 when it was
adopted on first reading. The said ordinance will be further consid-
ered on second reading for final adoptionat a meeting of said
Council of the Borough of Carteret on August 1, 2019 at approxi-
mately 6:00 P.M., Borough Hall /Council Chambers, 61 Cooke Ave-
nue, Carteret, New Jersey at which time and place all persons inter-
ested will be given an opport
unity to be heard.
