ORDINANCE 2015 -4
AN ORDIANANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2014 -10, AN ORDIANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF
GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED
OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 2015
SECTION ONE: That the City of Greencastle shall pay all eligible employees 27 bi- weekly pays effective with pay period beginning December 13, 2014 at the rates listed in
SECTION TWO, below. In addition, all eligible full -time members of the departments of the City of Greencastle shall be paid longevity pay, calculated at a percentage of
their base pay, beginning on the first day of the anniversary month of employment as follows:
Months of Completed Employment Percentage of Pay
Date of hire through 35 months (2 years, 11 months) 0%
36 months through 71 months (5 years, 11 months) 3
72 months through 131 months (10 years, 11 months) 4%
132 months through 167 months (13 years, 11 months) 5%
168 months or more 6%
Full -time members shall be compensated for authorized overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act, 29 U.S.C.A. 207.
SECTION TWO: That the Police Department shall consist of nineteen (19) full -time members and (1) one part-time clerical in addition, five (5) part -time crossing guards.
Base pay ranges can start at the entry level amount or any amount in between up to the maximun base pay as follows:
SECTION THREE That the Fire Department shall consist of nineteen (19) full -time members including one (1) full time building inspector and one (1) full time Safety
Officer,plus seven (7) part-time members, and one (1) full -time clerical position. Base pay ranges can start at the entry level amount or any amount in between up to the
maximum base pay as follows:

The Utiltiy Department shall pay the designated amount to the following employees of the City of Greencastle for services rendered on behalf of the City of Greencastle
during the year 2015:

Deputy Clerk Treasurer $ 10,000.00 $ 12,893.00
That the Utility Department shall pay to each of the two (2) citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Greencastle for the services rendered by
the citizen members of the Board of Public Works and Safety on behalf of the Utility Department during the year 2015 the sum of two thousand one hundred forty dollars
($2,140.00).
