SETTING LEVEL OF EMPLOYEE BENEFITS FOR DISPATCHERS AND
COPAY /COINSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret and Teamsters Local 97, entered into a collective
bargaining agreement with effective dates January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2019
with regard to Full Time Borough Dispatchers; and
WHEREAS, the Borough, at its sole discretion in an attempt to recruit and retain
qualified staff has decided to enhance Health and Welfare benefits for those Full Time
Dispatchers hired prior to 01/01/2020 as follows:
Full -time employees shall be entitled to Single or Family coverage in
the Borough selected plan within the NJSHBP and the Borough's
RX plan of 25/35/50. The Borough and the employee will split the
cost of the medical premiums at 50% each.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the amendment take place
immediately.
