AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T&M ASSOCIATES -
SUSPECT AREA SEWER SEPARATION AND IMPROVMENTS
PLANNING DOCUMENT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
services in connection with the formulation of the Suspect Area Sewer
Separation and Improvements Planning Document; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer, Donald _1. Norbut, P.E.,
C.M.E. of T&M Associates, possesses the requisite skill and expertise to
provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Donald 3. Norbut, P.E., C.NI.E. of T&H Associates has
submitted a proposal to provide said engineering services at a total cost
not to exceed $i4,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposals;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financia! Officer has certified that funds are or will
be available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, Counb,/of Niddlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Donald ]. Norbut, P.E., C.N.E. of
Associates for engineering services related to the
formulation of the Suspect Area Sewer Separation and
improvements Planning Document at a total cost not to
exceed $14,000.00 at the hourly rate set forth in T & k'l's
existing contract with the Borough is hereby approved.
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on _lanuary 18, 2002.
