Re: Public Records Request
Subject: Parcel No. 20- 43- 46- 04 -00- 000 -1010
Located on N Federal Hwy, just north of the entrance into Place Au Soleil
Dear Rita:
My original Public Records Request on this matter was sent on June 18, 2013, and you answered
non - responsively on June 23, 2013. I subsequently requested these same documents on June 25,
2013, and am in receipt of your most recent response dated July 30, 2013. Your letter is again
non - responsive as to item no. 2. Copies of all the above letters are attached.
As a result of your non - response, I'd like to clarify my Request once more. I am herewith asking
for clarification to your response, to wit:
1. Is your response that the Town no longer has any records of the documents associated
with previously granted permits? Or is your response that no permits have ever been
issued for this Parcel, and therefore, no documents exist?
2. If no permits have been granted for the above referenced Parcel, please provide the
Gulf Stream Code provision that exempts a property owner from securing permits from
the Town for wells, concrete block buildings, fences or gates - all which currently exist
on this Parcel?
Finally, pursuant to the Public Records Act, Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes, I am herewith
making a public records request for copies of the following:
3. Any and all property maps, boundary maps, plats, easements, or any documents
containing a legal description, etc., for the entire Town or that portion of the Town
which includes the western edge of the above referenced Parcel.

If you refuse to provide this information, Chapter 119 requires that you advise me in writing and
indicate the applicable exemption to the Public Records Act. Also, please state with particularity
the reasons for your decision, as required by Section I I9.07(2)(a). If the exemption you are
claiming only applies to a portion of the records, please delete or redact that portion and provide
a list of the remainder of the records, according to Section I I9.07(2)(a).
As allowed under Section 119.01(2)(f), it is requested that this Records Request be fulfilled in
electronic form and sent by e-mail delivery. If you cannot e-mail digital files, a data transfer
device, such as a flash drive, will be provided. If not available in electronic form, it is requested
that that any copies provided in response to this Record Request be two sided, and billed in
accordance with Section I19.07(4)(a)(2).
If you can provide said list of the above requested documents, my client could then decide which
documents he wished to have duplicated. We could then submit that to you for an estimate of
the cost of duplicating the documents he desires. If acceptable, he is willing to pay the actual
cost of duplication as defined in Section 119.07(1)(a). However, if you anticipate that in order to
produce the list requested, "extensive use" of information technology resources or extensive
clerical or supervisory assistance as defined in Section I I9.07(1)(b) will be required, we would
ask that you please provide a written estimate and justification.
I would ask that you provide all the above requested records no later than this coming
TUESDAY, AUGUST 14.2013.
If you have any questions or need more information in order to expedite this request, please call
me at my cell phone at 407 - 7584194.
Respectfully,
^-
Louis L. Roeder, Esq.
