Dear Mr. Shuman:
On behalf of the Town of Watertown, we have reviewed the memorandum dated June 27, 2017
prepared by Vanasse & Associates, Inc. (VAI) in response to our June 12, 2017 peer review memo.
Based on the analysis provided by VAI, we concur that modifying the proposed site plan to
provide a 155-room hotel in place of the previously proposed 79-unit apartment building will not
substantially change the projected future traffic operations with the proposed project . The off-
site mitigation measures previously proposed will adequately accommodate project generated
traffic and will provide safety and accessibility improvements to the Arsenal Street corridor.
