AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2004 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2004; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2004 budget be amended as follows:
A. Park & Recreation
Delete $20,000.00 from Salaries and Wages — Temp
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.1197
Delete $19,500.00 from Other Equipment
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.4490
Add $34,000.00 to Electric - Facilities
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.3510
Add $5,500.00 to Fleet Gasoline and Oil
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.2211
Passed and adopted this _6th_ day of December 2004, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
