GULF STREAM, FLORIDA.
I. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Mayor Stanley called the meeting to order at 10:00
A.M.
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Vice Mayor Stanley led in the pledge of allegiance.
III. ROLL CALL

IV. Commission Action
A. Interlocal Agreement Between the Town of Highland
Beach and The Town of Gulf Stream for Building
Department Services
Town Manager Dunham stated that the Town of
Highland Beach, after due diligence and vetting on their part,
approved the ILA at their Commission Meeting on August 25, 2022,
with a unanimous vote. Assistant Town Attorney Nazzaro
explained changes in the language that Highland Beach had wanted
and referred to pages in the agreement that the Commissioners
had been given. He thought the changes were fair and
reasonable. There were no questions from the Commission.
Commissioner Smith made a motion to approve the Interlocal
Agreement between the Town of Highland Beach and the Town of
Gulf Stream for Building Department Services as presented,
including six pages with red -lined changes shown. Commissioner
Orthwein seconded the motion with all voting AYE at roll call.
Commissioner Smith asked how things would be handled with
Delray Beach and permits they were still handling. Assistant
Town Attorney Nazzaro explained he may be back before the board
with a modified ILA bridging that gap with Delray Beach.

B. Selection of Building Permitting and Inspection
Services - RFP No. 22-01
1. Recommendation from the Selection Committee
Since the ILA was approved by the Commission,
this item was withdrawn.
V. Adjournment
Vice Mayor Stanley adjourned the meeting at 10:28 A.M.
