Chairperson Naill called the meeting to order at 5:53 p.m.
1. Roll Call:
2. Approval of Agenda: Minutes of September 28, 2011 minutes
Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Cook seconded the motion to approve
the Agenda. Motion carried: 4 -0.
3. Open Forum:
4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a. Recommend approval of the Three Mile Plan
TP Trotter outlined the need, per State Statutes, to annually adopt the Town's Three
Mile Plan.
Commissioner Cook moved, and Commissioner Sumrall seconded the motion to
approve the Three Mile Plan. Motion carried: 4 -0.
5. Public Hearing
a. Subdivision Regulations
Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Shapiro seconded the motion to open
the public hearing on the Subdivision Regulations. Motion carried: 4 -0
Proof of publication was entered into the record.
Staff has proposed certain amendments to the subdivision regulations which are located
in Chapter 17 of the Fraser Municipal Code. The Code states that "the Planning
Commission (PC) may propose amendments to the subdivision regulations, as needed.
Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Sumrall seconded the motion to close
the public hearing on the Subdivision Regulations. Motion carried: 4 -0.
6. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
b. Resolution 2011- 11 -01, recommending approval of the amended Subdivision
Regulations for the Town of Fraser
TP Trotter will make changes to the subdivision regulations and bring the Resolution
back to the Commissioners.
7. Adjourn
The PC shall recommend approval or approval with conditions or denial of the proposed
amendments at a public hearing following public notice. The amendments must be
approved by the Town Board (TB) at a public hearing following public notice.
TP Trotter outlined the changes recommended to the subdivision regulations.
Clark Lipscomb addressed the Board /Commissioners on his concerns with the proposed
changes.
TP Trotter will make changes to the subdivision regulations and bring it back to the
Board Commissioners.
Commissioner Sumrall moved, and Commissioner Soles seconded the motion to
adjourn. Motion carried: 4 -0. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
