AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON CHANGING
THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE
CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The following described property within the area bounded by
the San Diego Freeway on the Northeast, a line parallel to, and 600 feet Westerly of
Avalon Boulevard on the West, and a line parallel to, and 600 feet Southerly of Carson
Street on the South, shall be zoned as follows:
To the CC -• Civic Center:
Lots 54 through 57 of Tract No. 2982
Lots 46 through 55 of Tract No. 3848
Lots 58 through 61 of Tract No. 3848
Lots 1 through 6 of Tract No. 4054
Lots 9 through 10 of Tract No. 4054
Lots 1 and 2 of Tract No. 4546
Lots I through 25 of Tract No. 27635
Lots 1 through I1 of Tract No. 29845
EXCEPT for those portions of the above-mentioned tracts dedicated for
public street and highway purposes and also excepting Lots 1-51 of Tract No. 26399.
Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Carson, as adopted by Section
9101 of the Carson Municipal Code, is hereby amended by changing the classifications of
the areas hereinabove described to the zoning classifications set forth in this ordinance,
and said Map shall have noted thereon "Amended to 4th day of March , 1970.
Section 3. Section 9101 of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended
to read
9101. Adoption of Zoning Map. That certain Zoning Map on file in the
office of the Director of Panning in the City Hall of the City of Carson existing and in
effect on May 7, 1968, and as amended on March 4, 1970 , is hereby adopted
as the Zoning Map.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to enter the effective date of this
Ordinance in the appropriate space in both Sections 2 and 3 hereinabove.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carson this 2nd day of February , 1970.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 70-118, passed first reading on January
26, 1970, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular
meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 2nd day of February
1970, and that the same was so passed and adopted by thee following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Yamamoto, Smith, Marbut,
Clark and Junk.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
