AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON CHANGING THE
TIMES OF MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND AMENDING
THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Section 2403 of the Carson Municipal Code is amended to
read:
"2403. Council Meetings. Regular meetings of the City Council shall
be held on the first and third Mondays of each month at the hour of 7:30 P.M., or if any
such day is on a holiday, then the meeting scheduled on such day shall be held on the next
succeeding day which is not a holiday. At the second meeting in April of each year, except
as otherwise provided by law, the Council shall organize and select a mayor and mayor pro
tempore.

" foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 70-131, passed first reading on May 11, 1970, was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 18th day of May, 1970, and that the same was
so passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Leahy, Marbut, Spence and
Smith.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: — None.
