AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ADDING A CERTAIN SECTION TO THE BUILDING
CODE AND AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding to Article
VIII, Chapter 1, a Section 8103 to read as follows:
8103. Amendment to Building Code. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
8100 of the Carson Municipal Code, a Section 1716 is added to the Building Code to read as
fol I ows:
Sec. 1716. DRAINAGE. Site drainage from improved portions of
a parcel of land shall not be permitted to flow over public property.
Exception: Groups I and J occupancies.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carson
this 21st day of September 1970.

that the same was so passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
