AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON CHANGING THE ZONE OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE:
ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. 12
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . That portion of Lot 68 of Tract No. 3612 in the City of Carson described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of the easterly 235 feet of Lot 68
with the north line of 223rd Street (100 feet wide); thence northerly along said
westerly line a distance of 167.85 feet; thence South 890 48' 40" East 210 feet to
the Westerly line of Figueroa Street (100 feet wide); thence South 00 8' 10" East
150.85 feet also being the westerly line of Figueroa Street, thence South 450 V 20"
West 23.98 feet; thence South 890 48' 40" West 193 feet also being the northerly
line of 223rd Street to the point of beginning,
is hereby classified and zoned CPD (Commercial Planned Development), as shown on the City
of Carson Zoning Map as hereby amended.
Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Carson, as adopted by Section 9101 of the
Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended by changing the classification of the area hereinabove
described to the zoning classification set forth in this Ordinance and said map shall have noted
thereon "Amended to 31st day of March , 1971".
Section 3. Section 9101 of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended to read:
"9101 . Adoption of Zoning Map. That certain Zoning Map on file in the office of the
Director of Community Development in the City Hall of the City of Carson, existing and in
effect on May 7, 1968, and as amended to March 31, 1971, is hereby adopted
as the Zoning Map of the City of Carson. "
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to enter the effective date of this ordinance in
the appropriate space in Sections 2 and 3 hereinabove.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this is day of March 1971 .

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby certify that
the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing ordinance
being Ordinance No. 71-159 passed first reading on February 16, 1971 , was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council duly and
regularly held on the 1st day of March , 1971, and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Junk, Leahy, Marbut, Spence and Smith.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
