AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON CHANGING
THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE
CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE: ZONE CHANGE CASE NO.14
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
follows: Section 1. That certain property in the City of Carson described as
That portion of Lot 1, Block F., Dominguez Colony, in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 32,
Pages 97 and 98 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the easterly line of Alameda Street (50 feet
wide) distant along said easterly line S 17008'46" W 482.78 feet from
the intersection of said easterly line with the south line of Carson
Street (66 feet wide); thence S 72051'14" E 182.88 feet; thence on
a curve convex to the south, radius 259.86 feet, delta 17015'06",
length 78.24 feet; thence on a curve convex to the southwest, radius
15 feet, delta 107045138 1 , a length 28.21 feet; tangent 20.56 feet;
thence N 17039'18" E 84.44 feet to the northwest comer of Lot 73,
Tract Number 11768, as per map recorded in Book 253, Pages 27, 28
and 29 of Maps in the Office of the said County Recorder; thence
along the north boundary line of said Tract Number 11768, N 89053140"
E 94.99 feet; thence N 0006'20" W 427.00 feet to the south line of said
Carson Street; thence along said County line S 89053'40" W 215.00 feet
more or less to the easterly line of said Alameda Street; thence S 17008'46"
W 482.78 feet to the point of beginning,
is hereby classified and zoned C-1 (Restricted Business) as shown on the City of Carson
Zoning Map as hereby amended.
Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Carson, as adopted by
Section 9101 of tie Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended by changing the classification
of the area hereinabove described to the zoning classification set forth in this ordinance and
said map shall have noted thereon, "Amended to 2nd day of June 1971 ,"
Section 3. Section 9101 of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended
to read:
9101. Adoption of Zoning Map. That certain Zoning Map on file in the
office of the Director of Community Deve opment in the City Hall of the City of Carson, as
amended to June 2, 1971 is hereby adopted as the Zoning Map of the City
of Carson.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to enter the effective date of this
ordinance in the appropriate spaces in Sections 2 and 3 hereinabove.

April 19, 1971 , was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of
said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 3rd day
