AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON ADOPTING BY
REFERENCE PURSUANT TO SECTION 50,022.2 OF THE
GOVERNMENT CODE THE ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE
OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, BEING ORDINANCE
NO. 4729 OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AS AMENDED
TO AND IN EFFECT ON JANUARY 1, 1972, AND AMENDING
THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 The Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended by amending
Section 3300 thereof to read:
3300. Animal Control Ordinance. The Animal Control Ordinance, being
Ordinance No.727of the County of Los Angeles, as amended to and in effect on January 1,
1972, is hereby adopted as the Animal Control Ordinance of the City of Carson.
Three (3) copies of said Ordinance No. 4729 of the County of Los Angeles,
as amended, have been deposited with the office of the City Clerk of the City of Carson and
shall beat all times maintained by said Clerk for use and examination by the public.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of July, 1972

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 72-222, passed first reading on
June 5, 1972, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a
regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 3rd day of JuIy, 1972,
and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following ron—cal vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Smith, Yamamoto & Marbut.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
