AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON DESIGNATING
PUBLIC PLACES FOR THE POSTING OF OFFICIAL NOTICES,
ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS, AND AMENDING THE
CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Section 2800, Chapter 8, Article II of the Carson Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read:
"2800. Public Places for Posting Notices. The following are officially
designated as public places for the posting of all ordinances, resolutions or notices
adopted or issued by the City in all cases where posting is provided for by law:
1 . Los Angeles County Regional Library at Carson
151 East Carson Street
Carson, California 90745
2. Los Angeles County Library
Dominguez Branch
2717 East Carson Street
Long Beach, California 90810
3. Los Angeles County Library
Victoria Park Branch
18419 South Avalon Boulevard
Carson, California 90746
Section 2. Section 2802, Chapter 8, Article II of the Carson Municipal
Code is hereby renumbered Section 2803.
Section 3. A new Section 2802 is hereby added to Chapter 8, Article 11, to
read:
112802. Additional Posting Location. The City Clerk shall post all ordinances,
resolutions or notices adopted or issued by the City on the Bulletin Board in the lobby of the
City Offices located at 21919 South Avalon Boulevard, Carson, California. Such posting
location is for the purpose of public convenience and is in addition to the official public
places for the posting of notices designated in Section 2800 of this Code in accordance
with the provisions of Section 36933 of the Government Code.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1972.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 72-243, passed first reading on
November 61 1972, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City
at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 20th day of November,
1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Smith, Yamamoto and Marbut.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Calas.
