AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON CHANGING
THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTYAND AMENDING THE
CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONE CHANGE CASE NO .
32-73)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . Those certain properties hereinafter described are hereby
reclassified and-z�oned as follows:
To the RPD (Residential Planned Development) Zoned District:
That portion of Lot 4 of Tract No. 29042 recorded in Book 711,
Pages 37 through 42, of Maps, records of Los Angeles County,
in the City of Carson, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the north line of said Lot 4
and side line of 231st Street as shown on said map of Tract No.
29042; thence Southeasterly along said line, South 370 18' 00"
East, 45.84 feet; thence South 520 42' 00" West 68.33 feet to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 880 12' 15"
West, 82.00 fee , thence North 10 47' 45" West, 22.00 feet;
thence North 88 12' 15" East, 112.84 feet, more or less, to a
point in the line described above as being South 520 42' 00"
West, 68.33 feet; thence along said line South 520 42' 00"
West, 37.88 feet, more or less, to THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
To the CPD- (Commercial Planned Development) Zoned District:
That portion of Lot 4 of Tract No. 29042 per map recorded in
Book 711 . Pages 37 through 42, of Maps, records of Los Angeles
County, in the City of Carson, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North Line of said Lot 4 and
the easterly line of the 20 foot wide Alleyas shown on Sheet No.
4 of the map of said Tract No. 29042; thence Southerly along
the southerly prolongation of said easterly line, South 10 47' 45"
East, 55.00 feet; thence Easterly, parallel to said north line of
Lot 4, North 880 12' 15" East 47. 18 feet; thence North 10 4714511
West, 55.00 feet to said north line of Lot 4; thence Westerly along
said north line South 880 12" 15" West 47.18 feet to the point of
beginning.
Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Carson, as adopted by Section
9101 of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended by changing the classification of the
areas hereinabove described to the zoning classifications set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance
and said map shall have noted thereon "Amended to 6th day of Februaey , 1974."
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to enter the effective date of this
ordinance in the'appropriate space in Section 2 hereof.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the
foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 73-282, passed first reading on December 17 ,
197x, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting
of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 7th day of January 1974,
and that the same was so passed and adopted by tTie following ro ca vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Marbut, Smith & Yamamoto.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
