AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO . 71-205 FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING
THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR PROJECT AREA NO . 1
WHEREAS, on December 20, 1971, this City Council adopted Ordinance No.
71-205 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON APPROVING AND ADOPTING
A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR PROJECT AREA NO . 1 IN THE CITY OF )CARSON, AS THE
OFFICIAL REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR SUCH PROJECT AREA; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary and desirable to amend said Ordinance No.
71-205 in order to adopt Amendment No. 1 to the Redevelopment Plan for Project Area No.
1; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings required to be taken by the Community Redevelop-
ment Law as a prerequisite for the enactment of this Ordinance have been taken in compliance
with said Law, and this City Council is fully advised in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . It is hereby determined that Amendment No. 1 -to the Redevelop-
ment Plan for Project Area No. 1, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and hereby made a part
hereof, is necessary and desirable.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 71-205 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF CARSON APPROVIN AND ADOPTING A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR PROJECT AREA
NO . 1 IN THE CITY OF CARSON, AS THE OFFICIAL REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR SUCH
PROJECT AREA" is hereby amended to add as Section 13 thereof, Amendment No. 1 to the
Redevelopment Plan for Project Area No. 1, which said Amendment No. 1 is attached hereto
as Exhibit A and hereby made a part hereof.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance
and shallcause the same to be published once in the Carson Herald-American.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the
foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 74-289, passed first reading on January 21 ,
1974, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of
said Council, duly and regularly held on the 4th day of February, 1974 , and that
the same was so passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Colas, Marbut, Smith & Yamamoto.
NOES:,, COUNCILMEN: None.

EXHIBIT "A"
Agency bonds will be issued as needed, provided the
Agency is advised by appropriate financial counsel the
Agency has or will have adequate revenues to meet
principal and interest payments;on such bonds when
they become due and payable.
