AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON
CONCERNING BUSINESS LICENSES FOR
GARDNERS AND GARDENING SERVICES AND
AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Part 1, Chapter 3, Article VI of the Carson Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding a new Sub-Section 6303.44 1/2 to read as follows:
6303:.44 1/2. Gardner or Gardening Service shall mean any person or
firm engaged in the business of landscape or garden maintenance and upkeep, such as cutting
lawns, tending flower beds, putting in trees and shrubs, and other similar activities. This
definition shall not include a lanscape contractor licensed pursuant to the state Business
and Professions Code to handle landscape contracting.
Section 2. Section 6365.35, Part 3, Chapter 3, Article VI of the
Carson Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
6365.35. Gardening Services. One to two gardners and/or
vehicles. $75
Three or more gardners or vehicles, per gardner and/or vehicle. $25
