ORDINANCE NO. 78-434
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING
TO LARGE LOTS, REAL ESTATE ADVERTISING
SIGNS , AND NOTIFICATION OF DECISIONS
' AND AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Section 9125 . 5 of Division 5 , Part 2,
Chapter 1, Article IX of the Carson Municipal Code is amended
to read:
Section 9125. 5 Exception for Large Lots .
Notwithstanding any other provision in this Chapter, a lot
in the RS, RM or RA Zones may be developed with more than
one single-family dwelling provided that each such dwelling
and the site thereof complies with all regulations of the
RS , RM or RA Zones except the required street frontage. For
purposes of determing such compliance, a plot plan shall be
submitted to the Director depicting imaginary lines to be
construed as lot lines indicating the portion of the subject
lot to be utilized for each dwelling.
In condidering such plot plan, the Director shall determine
which lines shall be construed as front, side and rear lot
lines with respect to each dwelling.
Section 2. Section 9126 . 7 of Division 6 , Part 2 ,
Chapter 1 , Article IX of the Carson Municipal Code is amended
by deleting therefrom subsection 9126 . 7A, 4 and designating
subsections 9126 . 7A, 5; 9126 . 7A, 6 and 9126 . 7A, 7 as subsections
9126 . 7A, 4; 9126 . 7A, 5 and 9126 . 7A, 6 , respectively.
Section 3. Section 9173. 32 of Division 3, Part 7 ,
Chapter 1, Article IX of the Carson Municipal Code is amended
to read:
Section 9173. 32 Notification of Decision.
For each decision, notice of the decision shall be sent by
first class mail to: -
A. The applicant or person initially requesting considera-
tion of the matter.
B. Each person who has filed a written request therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of
May 1978.

that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 78-434, passed first reading on
April 17, 1978 , was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said
' City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 1st day of
May 1978, and that the same was passed and adopted by the following roll
call vote:
