AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON
ADDING THE ORL (ORGANIC REFUSE LANDFILL)
OVERLAY DESIGNATION TO THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES
AND AMENDING THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The ORL (Organic Refuse Landfill) overlay designation
is hereby added to the existing zoning classifications of those certain properties described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Carson as adopted by
Section 9114. 1 of the Carson Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the ORL
(Organic Refuse Landfill) overlay designation to the existing zoning classifications of
those certain properties described in Exhibit "A" and said map shall have noted thereon
"Amended to June 18, 1979."
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to enter the date of adoption
of this ordinance in the appropriate space in Section 2 hereinabove.

that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 79-471 passed first reading on June 6, 1979,
was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 18th day of June, 1979, and that the same was passed
and adopted by the following roll call vote:

SITE NO. 1 :
That portion of Lot 116 , Tract No. 4671, Map Book 56 pages
30 and 31, within the following described boundaries :

Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said lot, thence
southerly along the westerly line of Broadway; thence north-
westerly along the easterly line of Dominguez Channel right of
way, 260 feet wide, more or less, to the northerly line of said
lot; thence easterly along the northerly line of said lot to
the point of beginning.
SITE NO. 2 :
That part of the Rancho San Pedro which was alloted to
Manuel Dominguez per Superior Court Case No. 3284 , shown in
Clerk's Filed Map No. 145 having a total area of 53. 0± acres,
within the following described boundaries:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Main Street and 192nd
Street; thence easterly along the southerly line of said 192nd
Street to the southwest corner of 192nd Street and Avalon Boule-
vard; thence southerly along the westerly line of said Avalon
Boulevard to its intersection with the northerly line of L.A.
County Flood Control District; thence southwesterly along said
northerly line of L.A. County Flood Control District to its
intersection with the northeasterly line of Dominguez Channel,
300 foot wide more or less; thence northwesterly along the
northeasterly line of Dominguez Channel to its intersection with
the easterly line of Main Street; thence- northeasterly along
the easterly line of Main Street to the point of beginning.
Beginning at the intersection of South Main Street and the
southerly line of Dominguez Channel, 300 foot wide, more or

southeasterly along the southwesterly line of San Diego Freeway
to its intersection with the northerly line of the L.A. City
Water and Power right-of-way, 100 foot wide; thence westerly
along the northerly line of said Los Angeles City Water and
Power right-of-way to its intersection with the easterly line
of Main Street; thence northerly along the easterly line of
Main Street to the point of beginning.

Manuel Dominguez per Superior Court Case No. 3284 shown in
Clerk' s Filed Map No. 145, within the following described
boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of Main
Street and the southerly line of L.A. City Water and Power right-
of-way, 100 foot wide; thence easterly along said southerly line
of L.A. City Water and Power right-of-way to its intersection
with the southwesterly line of San Diego Freeway; thence south-
easterly along the southwesterly line of San Diego Freeway to
its intersection with the L.A. County Flood Control District
right-of-way; thence southerly, westerly, northwesterly and
westerly along the westerly, northerly, northeasterly and north-
erly lines of said L.A. County Flood Control District right-of-
way to its intersection with the easterly line of Main Street;
thence northerly along the easterly line of Main Street to the
point of beginning.

Beginning at the southeast corner of Figueroa Street and
Del Amo Boulevard, thence easterly along the southerly line of
said Del Amo Boulevard to the southwest corner of Del Amo Boule-
vard and Main Street, thence southerly along the westerly line
of Main Street to the northwest corner of Torrance Boulevard and

Beginning at a point, 1, 523. 43 feet from the southerly line
of 223rd Street, measured along a line parallel to the westerly
line of Alameda Street 93 feet easterly, thence easterly 799 .63
feet due east to the easterly boundary line of the City of Los
Angeles, thence southerly along said City of Los Angeles boundary
line 637. 75 feet; thence westerly, due west to the easterly line
of Alameda Street; thence northerly along the easterly line of
said Alameda Street to the point of beginning.
