ORDINANCE NO. 79-494
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON
GRANTING A SPUR TRACK FRANCHISE TO
THE LOS ANGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD
COMPANY AND UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
COMPANY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . A franchise is hereby granted to the
Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company and Union Pacific
Railroad Company, Utah corporations, for the construction,
maintenance and operation of one spur track within the City
of Carson, for a term of twenty—five (25) years from and after
the date of the passage of this Ordinance, subject to and upon
the terms, conditions , rules, regulations and restrictions
prescribed under Article VI , Chapter 9 of the Carson Municipal
Code, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2 . Said spur track will be located across
Santa Fe Avenue and Dominguez Street in the City of Carson,
along the center line described in Exhibit A attached hereto,
which is incorporated herein by reference.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of
October 1979.
